Key & access log

A printable log for tracking who has which client's key or code, where it is kept, and when it went back. Fill it in on screen and print it, or print it blank and write by hand. Nothing here is saved or sent anywhere.

A pet sitter is trusted with something most service providers never touch: a key to someone's home, or a code that works like one. Most problems with key handling do not start with a key being stolen. They start because nobody can say, with confidence, which key is where, whether it came back, or whether the code written down somewhere three years ago still works. The habit that prevents almost all of that is plain and a little boring: write down when a key or code was received, where it is kept, and when it was returned, every time, for every client. This log is for that habit.

Do not write the actual code on this page. For a keypad or smart lock, note only where the code itself is stored, such as a locked drawer or a password manager, never the digits. A paper log listing working codes is a risk, not a safeguard.
