Terms of Service

Plain, practical language, no unnecessary legalese.

1. Who runs the Service

Colebay PetSit ("we", "the Service") is run by Colebay LLC, a company in the United States. It is software that helps pet-sitting professionals manage owners, pets, appointments, notes, and invoices. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Please provide accurate information.

3. Free trial and subscription

New accounts start with a 30-day free trial, no card required. After the trial, continued use requires a subscription at $5 a month. Billing is handled by Stripe; we do not see, collect, or store your card details. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully. Do not attempt to access other accounts' data, disrupt the Service, or otherwise misuse it.

5. Your data

Your business data belongs to you. You can export it at any time from Settings. Private photos and files are protected per account. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Cancellation, and what happens next

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of your current billing period; your account stays active until then.

After that, and in the same way if your trial ends without a subscription, the account becomes read-only: you can still sign in, read everything, export your data, subscribe, or ask us to delete it, but you cannot add or change data. The data of a read-only account is kept for 60 days and then deleted or anonymized, apart from the little we must keep for legal, accounting, or dispute reasons.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running but provide it "as is." We may update features and these terms; changes will be reflected here.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
