Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum we need, and we never sell your data.

1. Our approach

Colebay PetSit is run by Colebay LLC, a company in the United States. We collect only the data needed to run the Service. We do not sell your data.

2. What we hold

Account information: your email, your password in scrambled form (never in plain text), your business name if you give one, your language, your currency, and your date and time formats.

The business data you enter: owners, pets, appointments, visit notes, invoices, and the photos and files you upload.

Basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service: the addresses of pages requested, times, and errors.

3. Where your data is kept

In the United States. The server that hosts the Service and its database are there. So are the only two other companies that touch your data: Resend, which sends the Service's email, and Stripe, which processes payments.

4. Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see, collect, or store your card details on our servers.

5. How we use data

To provide the Service, support you, keep accounts secure, and manage billing. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

6. Who else touches it

Three providers and nobody else: the host that runs the server, Resend for sending email (address confirmation, forgotten password, trial notices), and Stripe for payments. Each is used only to run the Service.

7. Your photos and files

Private photos and files are protected per account and are not shared between accounts.

8. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. When an account becomes read-only, at the end of a trial or after a cancellation, its data is kept for 60 days so you can read and export it, and is then deleted or anonymized. Beyond that we keep only the little we must for legal, accounting, or dispute reasons.

9. Exporting or deleting your data

You can export your data at any time from Settings, as JSON and CSV, photos and files included. To have it deleted before the 60 days are up, write to petsit-support@colebay.com from the account's address, or use the Contact page: we delete the account and its data, and email you when it is done.
